With the new type of performance cooling network and the dimensions of 287 mm x 185 mm x 115 mm, we have developed a high-performance intercooler that is specifically tailored to the high demands of the AMG engine. Compared to the original radiator, it offers an impressive 154% more external intercooler core volume for maximum heat transfer and optimal internal airflow. Our cast aluminium end boxes have been optimised using CAD technology and CFD simulations to ensure excellent cooling properties with minimal back pressure. This also makes this kit perfect for racing, where optimal cooling of the supercharged air with a noticeable increase in power is crucial. Our Wagner Tuning intercoolers are equipped with a heat-conducting anti-corrosion coating, which ensures a lasting cooling effect and ensures a long service life of the cooler. The installation of the system is simple and straightforward thanks to our detailed installation instructions - a real plug & play experience. Please note that installation of the intercooler kit is only possible in combination with our optimised air intake system. The stock air intake system must be completely removed because the intercooler will be mounted at this place. Our optimised air intake system is relocated to the right wheelhouse. As a result, short intake paths can be generated without major deflections.This system includes an additional special developed open sports air filter that offers maximum filtering effect with minimal backpressure behavior.
