The 3.0-liter S55B30 turbo engine of your BMW M2 Competition is equipped with an advanced indirect charge air cooling circuit. In contrast to the conventional cooling process with ambient air as the cooling medium, a separate cooling water circuit is used here. The reduction in cooling water temperature is therefore directly linked to improved charge air cooling performance.
